There is always what to do to commit God to make good His promise. Having done your part, which is to pray, God is bound to answer. Jer. 33:3 KJV “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”. But there are however conditions to meet, in order to receive answers.
- You must be THANKFUL , not ‘complain-full’ or ‘worry-full’. We are to worry about nothing, but be prayerful about everything. 4:6 KJV “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Whatever you worry about, is an indication that you have not truly prayed about it; burdens are lifted, to the prayer answering God, on the altar of prayer. Worry is an indication of prayerlessness. 1Thess. 5:18 KJV “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. We thank God in anticipation because he is the only one who can give answers to our prayers. Thanking God is what must happen before you take delivery of your answers. Heb. 10:36 KJV “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
- Mind what you SAY; mind what you say, mind your utterances. Mark 11:23 KJV “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”. Whatever cannot change your confession, cannot change your possession. Say what you want to see, not what you are seeing; the devil is waiting for your utterances, so is God. 5:6 KJV “Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?”. Whatever you say is what you are permitted to see. Your destiny tilts in the direction of your utterances. Prov. 18:21 KJV “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. Therefore, declare boldly that your prayers are answered; let your confession match your expectations.
- Mind your ACTIONS – because what validates your faith is your action. If your action betrays your faith, it won’t work. 4:16-21 KJV. Your actions tell God where your faith is.
- Mind what you THINK : You must stop thinking backwards, if you must go forward; your life gravitates in the direction of your thoughts. 4:23 KJV “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”. People who fail or succeed, do so by what they think; your thoughts will always govern your actions. Prov. 23:7 KJV “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”. Your thoughts control your life; those who think well will always live well. Whatever can’t cross your thoughts, can’t cross your life. Therefore, it is what you think, that the Lord will deliver into your hands.
