WHAT ARE THE PROFITABLE APPROACHES TO FASTING AND PRAYER?

  1. Be specific about your demands. God does not hear and answer ambiguities, he attends to specifics. We must understand that our needs will never be able to intimidate God, he is equal to our demands; therefore we must ask specifically in faith. 1:9-11 (KJV). What you don’t define, you may deviate from; so define what you expect.
  2. We must come reminding God of His word. God’s word is His authority, and his promises towards us. 1John 5:14 (KJV) “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:” In prayer, we take the word of God back to Him, for his response.
  3. We must engage in praying for the needs of others. James 5:16 (KJV) “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much”. What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. 6:8 (KJV) “Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free”.
  4. We must come with the full assurance of faith. 10:22-23 (KJV) (22) “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from all evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (23) “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”. Be confident that the prayer answering God will answer your prayer; let your prayers be incubated in faith, and your heart be burning with faith. God will always see your faith to determine what He does; no faith, no manifestation. James 1:5-8 (KJV).

Therefore, I welcome you to today’s Encounter with Destiny service; but what kind of destiny do we have in Christ?
