Your usefulness in the kingdom is a product of your cleanliness. 1Timothy 4:8 (KJV) “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come”. God may not choose who to save, but God will always select who to use according to your level of sanctification. 2Timothy 2:19-21 (KJV) – (19) “nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity,” (20) “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor” (21) “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”. You must understand that the level of honour you command in the kingdom is a product of the degree of your sanctification; therefore, if you are not godly, you will lack honor.

The place of sanctification in our Christian race cannot be removed, hence the need to get our foundation right (2Timothy 2:19). Godliness is profitable; therefore, flee from every form of ungodliness and unrighteousness. Crooked paths and ways will always lead to destruction; there is nothing that promotes as integrity.

Heaven is the home coming of all overcomers, in the kingdom. Revelation 2:7 (KJV) – “He that hath ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God”.

We must understand that there is a fierce battle against our destiny; this is why we must wage war against ungodliness. Matthew 26:41 (KJV) “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak”. The devil is bent on destroying destinies on the platform of sin. 1Peter 5:8 (KJV) “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: But these battles are not natural; they are all spiritual (invincible) battles that manifest in the physical. Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. Therefore, we must fight against every form of ungodliness, and take a stand with godliness. 2Corinthians 10:3 (KJV) “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

We must however know that every temptation that may make us fall into ungodliness, and commit sin, is overcome-able. 1Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” God has empowered every believer to live holy; every child of God has the capacity to be holy. Matthew 5:48 (KJV) “Be ye perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect”.

EXAMPLES OF MEN WHO PROVED THAT GODLINESS IS PROFITABLE

1. Abraham

Isaiah 51:1-3, Genesis 14:22-23.

There is no place worth going that does not require godliness to get there; serve your God with godliness and you will get there. Genesis 24:1 (KJV) “And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things”
